Photo shoot planning documents

Date and time of photo shoot: 13/01/2014 - 12:50pm

Material to be shot:
Front cover image-
Black background, butterfly lighting, Model to be stood doing the devil horns pose. Staring straight into the camera. I will try many different shots some medium and close ups to see which looks the most affective for the front cover of my magazine.

Top ten best selling rock albums of all time images-
Model to be stood with a straight face looking directly into the camera. Medium shot- you can see her whole body, she will have a straight face to not draw attention away from the main imagery of the shirts she is wearing of the top 2 best selling rock albums.

What personnel do you need?

Lighting assistant: 1
Makeup assistant: 0
Models: 2

What props will you need?

-2 shirts, ACDC-Back in black
-Guns n roses or Pink Floyd-Dark side of the moon

Describe in detail your make-up & costume needs. (Include reference material to illustrate your needs)

Both my models will have very heavy dark make up. They will have minimal make up on their skin, as butterfly lighting will flatter the models. The model for the front cover will be wearing her black leather jacket with a band shirt (slipknot), ripped jeans and black converse-this is if I decide I want a full body shot ad appose to a close up shot of just her shirt and face. I will have a practice shot of her with a guitar to see if that looks affective or not.

My other model will be wearing an ACDC back in black shirt for the first shot and Guns n roses shirt for the other shot. She will also be wearing her ripped skinny jeans and her doc martins.

Studio shoots: what kind of lighting?

Backdrop: Black

Lighting equipment needs: Butterfly lighting

Examples of images i am hoping to achieve for front cover:

I am hoping for front cover images like either of these but with my model doing the 'devil horn' pose.

Date and time of photo shoot: 1/12/2013 6:30pm

Material to be shot: Images of the band ‘pulled apart by horses’

These images will be taken at Manchester arena (permission granted) so no backdrop of assistants will be needed with this photo-shoot.

Studio shoots: what kind of lighting?

The images I am hoping to get are action shots of the members performing on stage. The lighting will be typical lighting at a concert so this could make the images look eye catching.
I am hoping for images such as these:

These images are what I hope to achieve with both the bands stance and the lighting. They are clear and look very appropriate for my magazine.
